ONLINE INDIVIDUAL COUNSELLING · AUSTRALIA-WIDE

When your mind rarely goes quiet

Some of us spend a lot of time thinking. We reflect, analyse, revisit conversations, wonder about our reactions and try to make sense of the people and situations around us. That can be a strength, but it can also become exhausting when thinking turns into overthinking, emotions become difficult to untangle, or we find ourselves returning to the same questions and patterns without quite knowing what to do with them.

You might be struggling with relationships or self-worth, carrying the impact of past experiences, going through a period of change, or simply feeling more overwhelmed or stuck than usual. You may know exactly what you want to talk about, or you might just have a sense that something isn't quite right.

Counselling gives us a space to slow things down and look at what’s happening with a little more room and curiosity.

Sometimes that might mean exploring why a particular situation affects you so strongly, noticing patterns in the way you relate to yourself or others, or looking at how past experiences are showing up in the present. Other times, it might be about something happening in your life right now and finding practical ways to navigate it.

Counselling may be helpful if you’re navigating:

  • Overthinking & rumination

  • Emotional overwhelm

  • Self-worth & self-doubt

  • Relationships & communication

  • Recurring patterns

  • Boundaries & expressing your needs

  • Past experiences that still affect you

  • Life changes & uncertainty
